“Pitching is the art of instilling fear.” – Sandy Koufax
This weekend I had the chance to go to a Yankee’s game against the Boston Red Sox. I was scared of not understanding anything since I don’t know the rules. And I was right. I didn’t understand a thing except for the main things like home runs or strikes.
However, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the atmosphere of the game. First of all the stadium is so massive, I didn’t think it would be this big. And when it’s full of people, it’s even more impressive.
Also, the fans are really taking a big part in the creation of this incredible atmosphere, shouting and screaming their lungs out every time the Yankees won a point. In the end, the Yankees won and everyone was excited.
I've loved this experience and would do it again if I could! But maybe I'll learn the rules next time! 😉
See ya! 🕺
I'm so glad you were able to get to an iconic NY Yankees game - it is easy enough to get swept up in the loud steamy atmosphere of hot dogs and beer and curses and never understand a thing about the game.
